Volvo Penta has a long history in Malaysia and is well known globally as a reliable and environmental sensitive manufacturer of marine and industrial engines. Volvo Penta's history in Malaysia started in the early 1970.

Since then Volvo Penta has established itself as the market leader in the industrial power generation market.

Thousands of engines are now in use as prime mover for electric power generator sets and industrial equipment. In the marine sector, Volvo Penta engines are widely used as propulsion engines in the local enforcement agencies and as auxiliary engines in ocean going vessels.
